It pretty much just gets you to the point where you've got some crops growing and then waves you goodbye, leaving you to wander about and work out what to do next. It doesn't cover forestry, which is a big new addition this time around. It doesn't cover any of the livestock features, such as being a dairy farmer, in any detail at all. The game doesn't go into details about how long crops take to grow, how to grow anything other than wheat (different crop types often require different methods and machinery for harvesting or transportation) or how to fertilise the crops. Then you're on your own with no goals other than to make lots of money. The European setting provides an in-game tutorial that shows you how to harvest crops that have already grown, cultivate the land for replanting, and sow seeds. When you begin play, career mode (which is all that's on offer) allows you to start on either a European or American farm. Not only that, but the amount of focus placed on those licenced machines seems to have come at the expense of massive chunks of gameplay. While Farming Simulator 15 does indeed simulate farming, there's a distinct feeling that you need to know a heck of a lot more than any game reasonably should expect you to before you start. With licenced farm equipment by the bucketload and a free-roaming style that means that you have full control over the success or failure of your business, the feature list suggests that this should be a slam dunk for anyone in that latter camp. Farming Simulator 15 is running – unsurprisingly – uncontested on Xbox One. On the other side, those with an interest will assume that negative comments are being made by people who just don't get it. On a platform filled to the brim with shooters, racers and sports simulations, the simple fact is that a very large portion of the market will just simply not understand the attraction of planting crops and harvesting them for money. If you're planning on downloading every mod and run then in your game then you might want to invest in a decent gaming rig instead of playing on consoles. It almost goes without saying that Farming Simulator 15 will be a divisive game. (3) can't have what ever machine you desire - Yes you canįS15 had slots too, but FS15 didnt have the graphics we have, nor did it have mod support, and the games just being released, if you read the top post you will see Giants are already looking at giving us more slots, (2) could be losing a bit of money has can't get jobs done has fast - You can still get all the equipment you need, and get all the jobs done (1) less machinery - Thats the whole point of it, you dont need 100 tractors PLUS more machines you have, will cost more to run, which I don't under stand why there is a slot counter if you end up selling the machines in the future anyways. (3) can't have what ever machine you desire (2) could be losing a bit of money has can't get jobs done has fast The slot counter is bad for many different reasons I upgraded to Xbox one, few weeks later I went and bought a copy of FS15 thought it was great, met lots of friends and made a farm that worthed over 15million dollors, bare in mind fs15 ps4/Xbox one never had any slots, then FS17 came out and I find older your machinery gets more expensive it is to run, and there is a slot counter. PS3/Xbox 360 versions had a slot counter, Dismond the farmee wrote:Ok, FS15 was my first simulator game, got it on ps3 then my save got corrupted,
